How to make an estimate or quote PDF

In the US people often say estimate or quote; elsewhere quotation is common. All mean a price offer before work is confirmed.

Steps to create an estimate

Add your business and client details so the offer is clearly addressed.
List items or services with quantity and rate.
Set discount and tax if needed, plus a valid-until date.
Download the estimate PDF and send it for approval. After they accept, create an invoice.

Keep wording clear so clients know payment is due only after acceptance (or after you issue an invoice).
