How to add UPI on an invoice (India)

Clients pay faster when your UPI ID is printed on the invoice PDF — no back-and-forth messages asking how to pay.

Why put UPI on the invoice?

Freelancers and shops in India often get paid by UPI. If the ID is only in WhatsApp chat, clients forget it. On the PDF, payment is one tap away.

Steps on Billvale

  1. Open invoice generator and set currency to INR.
  2. Scroll to payment / “How you get paid”.
  3. Enter your UPI ID (e.g. name@upi).
  4. Optional: add bank account + IFSC in the same block.
  5. Download PDF → WhatsApp or email to client.
