How to share an invoice PDF on WhatsApp

Modern billing apps either attach the PDF on mobile or send a secure view link. Billvale does both — file when the browser allows it, link otherwise — so customers always get the real document.

  1. Step 1

    Download the PDF first

    Fill any Billvale tool and tap Download. That unlocks share buttons and keeps a copy on your device.

  2. Step 2

    On phone: share the real PDF file

    Tap Share PDF file or WhatsApp (PDF). Your phone’s share sheet opens with the PDF attached. Choose WhatsApp, Email, Drive, or another app.

  3. Step 3

    On desktop: send a PDF link

    Browsers usually can’t attach files to WhatsApp Web. Billvale creates a private link (billvale.com/s/…) so your customer can open and download the full PDF.

  4. Step 4

    Customer opens it

    They get either the PDF in chat, or a link to view/download. Links expire after 30 days; create a new share anytime.

How to send a payment reminder (WhatsApp + Email)

On Invoice and GST invoice, after you download, open Payment reminder. Pick Friendly, Due soon, or Overdue — preview the full message (amount, due date, PDF link, pay link) — then Send on WhatsApp, Email, or Copy. Full follow-ups without leaving Billvale.

Can I send an invoice PDF on WhatsApp from my computer?
Yes. On desktop, Billvale creates a shareable link to the PDF. Send that link in WhatsApp Web, email, or chat. On phones, you can often attach the PDF file directly.
How do payment reminders work?
On Invoice and GST invoice, after download, open Payment reminder. Choose Friendly, Due soon, or Overdue, preview the full message, then send on WhatsApp, email, or copy. The message can include amount, due date, PDF link, and pay link.
Do share links expire?
Yes. Billvale PDF share links expire after 30 days. Download again and create a new share whenever you need.
Is sharing free?
Yes. WhatsApp/email share links and payment reminders are free on Billvale. You do not need Premium to share PDFs.
