Steps to create a purchase order
- Enter buyer and supplier names and addresses.
- Add a PO number and date, plus ship-to or delivery notes if needed.
- List products or services with quantity and unit price — totals update live.
- Download the purchase order PDF and send it to your supplier.
What happens after delivery
After goods arrive, you may still need a separate invoice from the supplier for payment records.
